'''Hiro Returns' is an exciting exhibition of new paintings by Hiromitsu Kuroo. Since his highly successful exhibition in June ‘Origami Reinvented’, Mr Kuroo has created a whole new body of exceptional work. His command of his canvases, the boldness of his images, his use of color, size, and texture; and the application of origami techniques, combine to produce truly remarkable works of art. Mr. Kuroo’s current work is only the tip of the iceberg. To attest to his talent, Mr Kuroo is current recipient of the prestigious Xavier Gonzales and Ethel Edwards Travel Grant awarded by Art Students League of New York.
