June 3 - June 28, 2008 Charlotta Janssen Annals of America Ms. Janssen’s work depicts American church groups, rallies, sports teams, performers and families from 1900 – 1950. Ms. Janssen is returning to the gallery with a new series of paintings and drawings from this era.

May 1 - May 30, 2008 Alexandra Solmssen Photographs  Ms. Solmssen’s large-scale photographs have a potency that is abstruse and emotive.  The experience of viewing her artwork is enviable and poignant.  Her uniquely processed silver gelatin photographs are exhibited in small and large formats.

Mach 19 - April 25,, 2008 Ceramics at Work The exhibition consists of a brilliant collection of functional ceramics, all finely crafted by ceramic artistes. Featured artists include: Charles Birnbaum, Bob Bruch, Yasha Butler, Greg Cochenet, Jim Connell, Nathan Falter, Jennifer Falter, Leslie Ferretti, Daniel Greenfeld, Ian Hays, Robbie Heidinger, Alisa Holen, Gloria Kennedy Brian Mahoney, Gordon Martz, Sara Mills, Stephanie Rozene, Joanne Shulman, Julie Singer, Ryan Takaba, Julia Terr, Jamin London Tinsel, Michel Louis Viala, Shumpei Yamaki and Joe Zeller. The opening reception will be held on Thursday April 3rd from 6 – 8:30 pm.

February 27 - Mach 15, 2008 Americana(1900 – 1950) an exhibition by Charlotta Janssen featuring church groups, rallies, sports teams, performers and families before posing became an epidemic.The opening reception is Thursday March 6 from 6-9 PM.   

January 16 - Feburary 23, 2008. Hiro Returns   an exciting exhibition of new paintings by Hiromitsu Kuroo. Mr Kuroo has created a whole new body of exceptional work.  His command of his canvases, the boldness of his images, his use of color, size, and texture; and the application of origami techniques, combine to produce truly remarkable works of art.Opening reception January 17 from 6-9 PM.

November 1- December 15, 2007. Encore is an international exhibition presenting past exhibitors in the gallery exhbiting new work.  Selected artists include Cindy Billingsley, Steven Grimmer, Gloria Kennedy, Robert Leland, Dale Lerner, Rene Murray, Sam Scott and Etta Winigrad. Exhibition Dates: .  Preview November 1 from 6-8 PM. Opening reception November 8 from 6-9 PM.

September 12 - October 27, 2007.  Fabulous Finishes is an international exhibition of ceramic art that epitomizes unparalleled surface decoration and inimitable glaze techniques.  Featured artists include Kim Acerra, Mindy Andrews, Kim Ashley, Paul Boucher, Barbara Broadwell, Shanna Fliegel, Edgar Franceschi, Anna Velkoff Freeman, Gloria Kennedy, Helen Nottage, Vince Palcios, Sang-Joon Park, Stephanie Rozene, Barbara Scavotto-Earley, Hunter Stamps, Lydia Thompson.  The opening reception is Saturday September 29, 2007.

June 6 - June 30 2007 Hiromitsu Kuroo Origami Reinvented Hiro’s vast, vibrantly-painted, creased, folded and altered canvases create timeless tracks of texture and intensity that elevate the traditional Japanese art to new heights.Opening Reception Thursday June 14, 2007 6-9 PM

March 28 - May 26, 2007 Clay:  Applied Art vs. Fine Art?   An exhibition exemplifying clay as applied art or clay as fine art or clay as both applied and fine art. Featuring Jake Allee, Frederick Bartolovic, Leslie Bergeron, Cindy Billingsley, Orville Chigbrow, Shanna Fliegel, Steven Grimmer, Heather Kaplan, Kaoru Kaplan, Gloria Kennedy, Trisha Kyner, Robert Leland, Dale Lerner, Angel Luna, Paul McCoy, Russ Orlando, Helen Otterson, Sam Scott, Maria Snyder, Pat Swyler, Aaron Wilcox and Etta Winigrad. Opening Reception Saturday April 14, 2007 from 2-5 pm.

Feb 1 – March 17, 2007 BLACK USA. an art exhibition celebrating past, present and future life of Black people in the USA. Commemorating Black History Month, New Orleans Mardi Gras and life in general. Ione Citrin, Deborah DeGraffenreid, Diane C. Duvall, Lou Grant, Leon Nicholas Kalas, Harry Longstreet, Gloria Kennedy and Jeanmarie Theobalds.

Dec 6 - Jan 13, 2007 ‘Func Art +’ An exhibition of Functional art to wear and use featuring  Vicky Barranguet(Natacha Ruth–designer), Caroline Byrne, Stephen Heywood, Gloria Kennedy, Alicia L. Piller, Dana Terry, Eugenia Zazowska + paintings by Hiromitsu Kuroo, Yuko Ueda and  sculpture by Miyuki Shinmoto.

November 9 - December 2, 2006  ‘MIYUKI SHINMOTO:  Balance, Light, Warmth and Rhythm’   Miyuki's exotic stone sculptures exude a beauty that is released softly into a natural balance that brings light and warmth. She transforms rhythm, spirit and emotions into curves and forms that are lucent and beg to be touched. Opening reception November 9, 2006   6 -9PM.

October 4- -  November 4, 2006 ‘The Clay Collective :  An exhibition of  Evolutionary Ceramics’ featuring Alexander KutchinsGail Goldsmith,  Lucy Gantz, Anne-Bridget Gary, Gloria Kennedy, Russ Orlando, David S. East and Rene Murray.. Opening receptionOctober 12, 2006   6 -9PM.  

September 7 -  September 30 2006 Alexandra Solmssen Crossing the Line 1995 - 2006 Alexandra crosses the blurred line between photography and painting.  Photography alone is too static and painting alone is less real.  Alexandra’s bigger than life silver gelatin nudes are washed and painted until they reveal a greater truth. “The process of making them is wild and gestural.  They seem huge from the start.  I feel as though these women deserve to loom, to be grand and exalt in their size and form.”

June 21 – July 29, 2006 'In the Rainbow !' An exhibition Celebrating PRIDE
Featured artists include: Scarlet Colsen, John Fazzino, Kyle Goen, Amos Kennedy, Gloria Kennedy, Victoria Pacimeo, Alexandra Solmssen, and Lisa Zilker.
Opening reception Thursday June 22, 2006 6pm – 9pm
Special Pride weekend reception Saturday June 24, 2006 2pm -4pm
The exhibition runs from June 22– July 29, 2006

May 4 – June 10, 2006  “Art for the Garden (outdoors and in)” An exhibition of Sculpture, Mixed Media Constructions and Ceramic art created for gardens, patios, decks, terraces, solaria and window sills.  Featured artists include: Ann Baker, Scarlet Colsen, John Fazzino, Jill Gross, Gloria Kennedy and Dennis Leri. 

March 2 – April 21, 2006 'Good Nudes'
The “Good Nudes” exhibition highlights a variety of media interpretations of the female anatomy, all resulting in a fresh and stimulating vision of today’s woman. Featured artists include Victoria Pacimeo, Lisa Zilker, Renee Ferguson, Alexandra Solmssen, David Hocs and Gloria Kennedy

Jan 12– Feb 23 2006 'Salvage: Putting it Together' is a mixed media exhibition featuring the assemblage art of Pablo von Lichtenberg, Ellen Alt, Rodney Allen Trice, Fotini Vurgaropulou and Dennis Leri. Although each of these artists has a unique and novel approach to assemblage art, they share the common objective of creating three dimensional master works from known and found objects. This collection of work is truly visually exhilarating and gives a fresh and novel perspective to recycling.
